Osteopathic Practitioner & Kinesiologist

I have always been an anatomy geek and was initially drawn to Osteopathy through my interest in anatomy and physiology, as well as the desire to learn more about how to help the body heal itself. What I love about Osteopathy is that it is gentle in nature, and that as an Osteopathic Practitioner, I have the ability to take the time to get to know my patients and to work with them in a caring and compassionate way.

Prior to studying Osteopathy, I obtained my B.Sc. Kin. in 2008 from the University of Saskatchewan. I have enjoyed teaching various fitness classes and working as a Certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor for over 10 years.

Through the years, I have gained a wide range of clinical experiences, having worked with people of all ages and with various health conditions, including people who are pregnant and in the postpartum period, babies & children, seniors, people suffering from persistent pain, headaches, and digestive disorders.

I provide a person-centred approach to working with people who are struggling with persistent aches and pains. By using a combination of modern pain science approaches, traditional osteopathic techniques, and exercise therapy, I use evidence-informed clinical skills to provide pain relief and pain management strategies.

As part of my commitment to my patients & to my career, I am constantly engaging in continuing education. I am currently furthering my studies by taking the Chronic Pain Management postgraduate course through the College of Occupation & Physical therapy at McGill University.

Whether you're a new parent recovering from childbirth, are experiencing aches and pains in your daily life, are recovering from an injury, have anxiety and worry about your pain,  or are experiencing persistent or recurring pain but have tried just about everything, I'm here to help. I will listen to your experiences and to work with you to come up with a plan on how to get you back on track to live without pain holding you back.
